WELCOME

On behalf of SEABCS 2019 organising committee, it is a great honour to welcome you to the 4th Annual South East Asia Breast Cancer Symposium scheduled on 30th August - 1st September 2019 held at Asia Hotel Bangkok, Thailand Our symposium would be organised under the theme “Empowering Patient and Provider in Building Capacity at the Primary Care” objectified to serve as a platform for views and perspectives exchange on breast cancer, which is critically essential for the improvement in Regions with underlying issues.

Through deliberations with clinicians, nurses, cancer survivors, patient advocates as well as government and non-goverment personnels, we aim to gain insights on the latest information and advancements related to breast cancer, enhance breast cancer managements, and improve the quality of care for breast cancer patients.  

For this year, we believe that the venue we selected would not only provide participants with a suitable location for a focused three-day session, but also with opportunities to discover and indulge in the richness of Thailand’s cultural heritage.

It has been a privilege of ours to conduct this symposium and we hope that by attending this symposium, you would be provided with not only the most current status and new perceptions on breast cancers, but also with new network and collaborations with other participants.

Since this symposium aims to gather as much information that would allow us to work towards the improvement of breast cancer, we strongly encourage policy makers, oncology clinicians, nurses, healthcare practitioners, social workers, cancer survivors, caregiver and anyone who is interested to know more on the healthcare development of breast cancer in South East Asia.
